Biography

Mr Farag is a consultant Obstetrician and gynaecologist with interest in ambulatory gynaecology and infertility at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. Mr Farag has vast experience managing general gynaecology cases, as well as hormonal disorders, menstrual disorders and recurrent miscarriages. He is a member of European and British Societies of Gynaecological Endoscopy and is experienced in laparoscopic surgery, ambulatory hysteroscopy, gynaecological scanning, early pregnancy scanning and infertility management. He is also experienced in abdominal surgery including myomectomy and hysterectomy in addition to vaginal surgery.

Mr Farag has over 20 years’ experience in managing infertility and has research and online publications in this field. He offers counselling to the couples, explaining possible reasons and discussing options including medical treatment, surgical treatment or assisted conception. He can arrange full investigations for an infertile couple and can offer hysteroscopic surgery as well as laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis or peri-tubal adhesions. 

​Mr Farag is the Quality Improvement Lead Obstetrician at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. He is a member of European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, Medical Protection Society and Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
